How to download an Instagram photo?

  1. Tap “Copy link” in the post's ⋯ menu.
  2. Paste the link into the box and press “Fetch”.
  3. Download the photo as JPG, PNG or WEBP.

JPG, PNG or WEBP?

JPG opens on every device and is good for sharing. PNG is lossless; it suits you if you'll edit the photo or send it to print. WEBP is the smallest file; ideal for use on your website.

The download button doesn't work, what should I do?
The buttons are valid for 1 hour. If they've expired, fetch the content again. If the post was deleted or the account was made private, it can't be downloaded.
