Winner
Ready-made yes–no wheel
The page opens ready with yes, no, maybe and “spin again” slices. You can delete the slices and write your own options (e.g. “watch a movie”, “go out”).
Before leaving your decision to chance
- Think of the most important pro and con for each option.
- For important decisions, only use the wheel between equally good options.
- If the wheel's result bothers you, you actually want the other option.
With friends
Settling small arguments like which game to play, who's paying or which movie to see with the wheel is a fair way everyone accepts.
FAQ
Decision Wheel — Yes or No? — what people ask
Are yes and no equally likely?
On the ready-made wheel, yes and no have two slices each, while maybe and spin again have one each; you can adjust the ratio by changing the slices.
Can I write my own options?
Yes; you can delete the ready-made slices and add the options you want.
Is the decision wheel suitable for serious decisions?
It's for fun and small decisions; for important decisions, weigh the pros and cons.
How many options can I add?
Up to 100 options. With many options the text gets smaller; 2–30 gives the most readable view.
Is my list saved?
Your options are stored only in your own browser; they come back when you refresh the page. Nothing is sent to the server.
Can the same option come up again?
Yes, every option has an equal chance on each spin. If you don't want repeats, turn on “Remove winner automatically”.
