cm/360 Calculator about

cm/360 shows how many centimeters you need to move the mouse on your desk to turn your character one full rotation (360°) in the game. Since it's a physical measure independent of DPI and game settings, it's the most accurate way to compare aim across different games and mice.

cm/360 formula

cm/360 = 360 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw) × 2.54. Yaw is how many degrees the game turns per mouse unit (CS2 0.022, Valorant 0.07). For example, 800 DPI and Valorant 0.35 → about 46.7 cm/360.

Which value suits me?

  • 20–30 cm: games that call for fast movement (Apex, Overwatch 2).
  • 30–50 cm: common in tactical shooters (Valorant, CS2).
  • Above 50 cm: very precise aim; requires a large mouse pad.

When switching mice

If the new mouse has a different DPI, find the sensitivity that keeps your old cm/360 value; that way your muscle memory isn't disrupted.

FAQ

cm/360 Calculator — what people ask

What is cm/360?

It's the distance you need to move the mouse to turn 360° in the game.

Is a low or high cm/360 better?

There's no single right answer; a low value gives fast turns, a high value gives precise aim. Choose based on the game type and your mouse pad size.

How is it different from inch/360?

It's the same measure in inches; cm/360 ÷ 2.54 = inch/360.

What is the ratio between Valorant and CS2 sensitivity?

Divide your CS2 sensitivity by 3.18 to get the Valorant equivalent (multiply by 3.18 for Valorant → CS2).

Should I change my DPI?

Not necessary. Setting in-game sensitivity with 400, 800 or 1600 DPI is enough; what matters is that your cm/360 value suits you.
